It’s Friday! Don’t you wish every work day could feel like Friday? I guess it would start to get old, after all, we look forward to Fridays for a reason.

This has been an odd and crazy week for us.  We’ve had some crazy swings of ups and downs and I haven’t had a chance to actually sit and digest all the things that have happened.  I don’t think we will fully understand what took place, but I’d like to.

I pushed out Chapter 2 of my new Untitled Novel.  I really need to think of a good name for this thing; I hate referring to it as my Untitled Novel.  Maybe one of you folks can help me out with that?  Chapter 2 is fairly short (< 1000 words) but there is a lot packed in there.  I plan on going back and expanding on it a bit.  Keeping in mind, this was a VERY rough draft since I did no spelling or grammar checking at all.  As you may already know, this was a novel I wrote during NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month).  I had a lot of fun and while I didn’t complete my novel, it gave me a great start on it (enough for 5 chapters) which I’ve slowly been going through and fixing up.  I have the whole story planned out in my head but need to get it on paper before I start to forget it.

Did any of you take part in NaNoWriMo?  If you’ve never done it and are interested in writing something, I highly recommend it.  This year I plan to hit it hard and accomplish a lot more; taking part in the user community and being a “real” member.  It is a great time (or so I’ve heard).

Well folks, while I would like nothing more than to sit here and do nothing but write all day (some day I hope), I do have a job that needs getting done and I best get at it.  Traffic was unusually light this morning which made for a very smooth commute (20min total from garage to office door).  I like Fridays, everything seems so much better.  Remember folks, if you’re looking to take part in any Super Bowl parties this weekend, the average person consumes approximately 1,200 calories during the Super Bowl.  If you’re like us and are not into the Super Bowl, throw an Anti-Super Bowl party instead.  All the fun of a Super Bowl party without the Super Bowl!  Can’t wait.
